These roles are ideally suited for part time employees.Security and Stage Door Attendant jobs openingsThe Security & Stage Door Attendant is responsible for providing a range of security, access control, customer service, first aid and safety functions at the Vancouver Civic Theatres (VCT) and its venues, Queen Elizabeth Theatre, Orpheum, Vancouver Playhouse and Annex.  The position responds to a variety of situations, both emergent and non-emergent in order to maintain a safe and secure environment.  Position requirementsCompletion of Grade 12 at a minimumSecurity Officer Training -  BST as a minimum requiredOccupational First Aid Level II is required. A Police Record Check will be required for this positionMinimum of one year experience as Security Officer in a related areaExcellent verbal and written communication skillsKnowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; booking or events software an asset.Note: This position requires flexibility in scheduling as work is assigned and involves non-standard hours, including weekday, evening and weekend shiftsTheatre Attendant job openingsTheatre Attendants at the Vancouver Civic Theatres will provide support in all areas within the Audience Services Division including ushering, ticket taking, coat check, barista and concessions attendant.
