Celebrating a 10 year milestone MOVE: the company 10th Anniversary Celebration Choreography by Joshua Beamish featuring guest artists from The Royal Ballet, San Francisco's Smuin Ballet, Ballet Jorgen and Ballet Kelowna.More details Date and time July 2 2015, 8:30 p.m.Location Vancouver Playhouse, 600 Hamilton Street at Dunsmuir Vancouver Contact Event details Playing for one night only on July 2nd at the Vancouver Playhouse in association with the Dancing on the Edge festival, the program features Beamish works performed by following artists:Matthew Ball and Nicol Edmonds of The Royal Ballet in burrow, which played at both The Place and The Royal Opera House in London in February 2015.Jo-Ann Sundermeier (former Royal Winnipeg Ballet Principal dancer) and Josh Reynolds of Smuin Ballet in an excerpt from Pierced, which premiered at the Vancouver Playhouse in 2013.Cristina Graziano and Jedidiah Duifhuis of Ballet Jorgen and Ballet Kelowna in a new, intimate pas de deux.The world premiere of a new work, The Other People In Your Party, created for founding MOVE: the company artists Heather Dotto and Cai John Davies Glover. The Other People in Your Party, will live as an abstract retrospective of sorts, honouring the contributions of the over one hundred dancers who have been engaged by MOVE: the company to date. Through the employment of various physical personalities that Beamish has invented over the past decade, Dotto and Glover will navigate an entirely new partnership, but one that is informed by the residual movement ghosts of their former colleagues..
