The program is divided into three themes "At Work", "At Play", and "Subject to Change". "At Work" features a look at the construction and opening of the Granville Bridge and a fire safety film from the early '70s.  "At Play" highlights various celebrations and recreational activities, including Queen Elizabeth's visit in 1959 and a dragon parade through Chinatown in the '50s.  "Subject to Change" presents a range of film styles: amateur documentary, experimental film and professional promotion video with footage of a movie protest and two selections from local filmmaker Mike Collier who created award-winning works over four decades. Vintage Vancouver will also show "snipes" from the 1920s, short segments aired before movies or during intermissions.. Event Details. Location: 1181 Seymour Street
