The tours will offer participants a chance to reflect on four different and distinct areas of Marpole. We'll explore areas located across the neighbourhood in relation to key planning themes (housing, transportation, parks and public space, community amenities, and land use). All tours start with a brief overview at Marpole Place (1305 West 70th Avenue at Hudson), then each group will head out with an urban designer to explore the community. The walking tours will be followed by a recap session at Marpole Place. And bring along your appetites as lunch will be served as well! Participants should be prepared to walk for approximately two hours, rain or shine. Comfortable shoes and walk-friendly attire are important. Interested in attending the walking tours?
