He is known for his genre-straddling work, from his Carnatic (South Indian classical) music roots, to compositions for the world's greatest orchestras including the New York Philharmonic, The Berlin Opera and the London Symphony Orchestra. His collaborations include landmark work with Yehudi Menuhin, Stephane Grappelli, Stevie Wonder and Herbie Hancock.Two-time Grammy Award winner Ernie Watts is one of the most versatile and prolific saxophone players alive.
