Register for a free UBC Botanical Garden water wise tour to stroll through drought tolerant landscapes and learn how to conserve water by choosing smart watering techniques, water wise plants and garden designs. August 25 tour in Mandarin only.. Event detailsEvery Thursday in August, the UBC Botanical Garden in partnership with the City of Vancouver and the Society of Promoting Environmental Conservation, will be hosting water wise events to help you learn where your water comes from and ways to conserve in the garden and at home. Register for a water wise garden tour on August 4,  August 11 or August 25 to stroll through drought tolerant landscapes and learn how you can conserve water by practicing smart watering techniques and choosing water wise plants and garden designs. The water wise tour on August 25 will be in Mandarin only. Registration required.Participants will learn the answers to questions such as:How can I save water every day?Where does my water come from?How do plants grow in dry conditions?How do I set up irrigation in my home? This is a walking tour of the Garden.
