Laneway Use Walkshop

Laneway Use 'Walkshop' West End Community Plan Type: Community Attend a "walkshop" and think about how West End laneways could be used in the future, including surface and landscaping treatments, pedestrian facilities, benches, lighting, traffic calming, parking, and infill housing possibilities. Learn about the history and character of the laneways, and observe and discuss how we design these places. The walk will be followed by a two-hour facilitated workshop where you can share your ideas for laneway improvements. Additionally, we've heard ideas for adding modest-scale infill housing along the laneways, where surface parking currently exists. Help to shape a vision for how these places can be improved over the next 5, 10 and 30+ years.
